I have assembled the below in anticipation of my TedX style talk to Northwestern’s Shepard Residential College on Friday.  In 2008, I opened my American Studies seminar with the JFK and Romney clips.  I find the juxtaposition with King and Obama a yet more powerful demonstration of the grotesque Gordian knot that our country sometimes loosens but has yet to cut.
